I’m Phoena Patel. I make everything on this site myself, by hand, in Fremont, California. There’s no assistant and no workshop. I only make one of each thing, so once a piece sells, that’s it.

I don’t stick to one kind of art. I paint, I draw, I crochet, and I make relief sculpture. I would rather learn a new material than keep repeating one I already know, which is why the shop isn’t just paintings.

I’m a student. I study psychology at Santa Clara University on a pre-med track, so I make things around classes. New work tends to go up in batches rather than at a steady pace.

I’ve spent a lot of time working with young people around mental health. Making something with your hands helps. That’s a big part of why I keep doing this. I’m not saying art is therapy, it’s just why I make things.

Prices cover the materials and the time. No gallery takes a cut, so you’re buying straight from me, and if you email, I’m the one who answers. Everything is packed here and ships tracked and insured.

Yes, I take them, but only a few a year. Email me the size you want, where it’s going, and what you have in mind. I’ll quote a price. If you want to go ahead I ask for a deposit, then I send you photos as I go.
